Neurodevelopment support for children
in Barcelona and Madrid

Neurodevelopment support focuses on helping children who experience differences in how they learn, process information, communicate, regulate emotions, or interact with the world around them.
These differences may be linked to attention, executive functioning, autism spectrum profiles,
sensory processing, or learning development.

At Peekaboo, neurodevelopment support is designed to help children build practical skills, confidence, and independence in everyday life. Support is always tailored to each child’s strengths, challenges,
personality, and family environment.

Our therapists work with children and teenagers approximately aged 2 to 16 years, supporting areas such as attention regulation, social communication, emotional regulation, sensory needs,
learning strategies, and daily routines.

Sessions are available in English and Spanish and take place in the child’s home, allowing support to be integrated naturally into everyday routines. Where appropriate, therapists can also collaborate with schools and other professionals involved in the child’s development.

We focus on understanding each child as an individual and supporting long-term progress through structured, supportive, and evidence-informed approaches.
What neurodevelopment support can help with
(ADHD, autism and learning differences)
Attention and Executive Functioning (including ADHD)
Children may experience challenges with concentration, organisation, impulse control, or completing tasks independently. Support focuses on building attention skills, planning strategies, emotional regulation, and routines that help children manage daily expectations more confidently.
Autism and Social Communication Support
We support children with autism spectrum profiles as well as children who may benefit from support with communication, social understanding, flexibility, and emotional regulation. Sessions are adapted to each child’s profile and can include social skills development, structured routines, and support with transitions or new environments.
Learning and Processing Differences
Some children benefit from additional support with memory, processing speed, language understanding, or academic organisation. Neurodevelopment support focuses on practical learning strategies, confidence building, and helping children approach school and homework in a structured and positive way.
Sensory and Emotional Regulation
Children may experience sensory sensitivities, emotional overwhelm, or difficulty managing transitions and routines. Support helps children understand their sensory needs, develop calming strategies, and build tools that improve daily comfort
and emotional balance.
How neurodevelopment support works
Support for ADHD, autism, learning differences, and emotional regulation tailored to each child.
Step 1
Initial Consultation and Understanding Your Child

We begin with a conversation with parents to understand your child’s strengths, challenges, developmental history, and current concerns. If your child has already completed an assessment, we review the results to help guide the support plan. If your child has not yet completed an assessment, we can support you through this process and arrange a professional evaluation through our Psychological Assessments service to better understand your child’s needs.

Step 2
Individualised Support Plan
Therapy sessions are tailored to each child and may focus on attention skills, emotional regulation, sensory support, social development, or learning strategies. Sessions are adapted based on age, profile, and family priorities, and can evolve over time as your child develops new skills.

Step
Ongoing Collaboration with Families and Schools
When appropriate and with parental consent, we collaborate with schools, teachers, and other professionals involved in your child’s support. We also provide practical guidance for parents so strategies used during sessions can be reinforced at home and in daily routines.
Who neurodevelopmental support is suitable for
This support is designed for children and adolescents who may benefit from structured developmental and emotional support.
Every child is different, and support is always adapted to their individual needs, strengths, and learning style.

Neurodevelopment support may be helpful for children who:
Have been diagnosed with ADHD, autism spectrum differences, or other neurodevelopmental profiles
Experience attention, focus, or executive functioning challenges
Show sensory sensitivities or regulation difficulties
Find social communication or peer interaction challenging
Experience emotional regulation difficulties, anxiety, or frustration linked to learning or daily routines
Would benefit from structured strategies to support independence, organisation, and confidence

Support can take place at home and is always coordinated with families. When helpful and with parental consent, we can
collaborate with schools and other professionals involved in the child’s care.
FAQ about neurodevelopment support
Do children need a diagnosis to receive neurodevelopment support?
No. Many children benefit from support without a formal diagnosis. If an assessment has already been completed, we can use the results to guide support. If not, we can arrange a professional assessment when appropriate.
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions usually take place in the child’s home, where support can be integrated into daily routines. When appropriate and with parental consent, we can also collaborate with schools and other professionals involved in the child’s support network.
In which languages is support available?
Support is available in English and Spanish. We also work with professionals from multilingual backgrounds and always aim to match families with the most suitable therapist based on language and communication needs.
How long does neurodevelopment support last?
Support is tailored to each child. Some children benefit from short-term targeted support, while others benefit from longer-term guidance. Plans are reviewed regularly with families to ensure progress and appropriate adjustments.
Which ages do you support?
We support children and adolescents aged approximately 2 to 16 years old. Support is always adapted to developmental stage, school environment, and family goals.
Can support be combined with therapy or school support?
Yes. Many families combine neurodevelopment support with therapy or school-based support. We help coordinate services when helpful to ensure consistency and continuity for the child.
