Preschool Teacher

Peekaboo is a unique multilingual, international Daycare. Everything is done with care and love as it is the most important aspect of our philosophy. As a Preschool Teacher at Peekaboo you will lead a new wave of early years superheroes. The role requires a creative thinker, someone who is organised and has an open mind. Previous experience of being a room leader/preschool teacher where you were responsible for your own class is a must. 

The key responsibility is to deliver an exceptionally warm and creative offering to our children and their parents. You must love getting down and messy with children, we are looking for someone who truly knows what it is to nurture and play at their level. 

This is a fulltime position, working Monday - Friday from 8.30 - 17.00.
Tasks
  • Provide a positive, constructive and creative environment for under 3's and further the seven areas of learning as specified in EYFS. 
  • Promote high standards of quality at all times, always pushing boundaries to be better.​​
  • Contributes to child learning, growth, and advancement.
  • Displays a passion for developing preschool-age appropriate educational activities and practice.
  • Maintains a positive mindset towards child learning and social-emotional development.
  • Facilitates problem-solving.
  • Serves as a role-model to child learners.
  • Invests in the students' well-being, health and safety.
Requirements
  • C2 level of English (any additional language is a plus)

  • Be passionate about working with children , and have a natural flair for making people feel happy and at ease, bringing energy and enthusiasm.
  • Above and beyond, be able to have fun and enjoy life with a friendly and warm demeanour.
  • Be interested in creating inspiring and fun work and play environments.
  • ​Think outside the box beyond the restrictions of the EYFS framework with a can-do attitude and a solution-driven approach to problems.
  • Have previous experience working with children aged 0-3 years.
